Ensuite Bathroom in North Yorkshire Country Manor house

Nestled in the serene countryside of North Yorkshire, this ensuite bathroom transformation beautifully balances elegance with functionality.

A key feature of the space is the bespoke glass shower screen, which offers an uninterrupted view whilst maximising the feeling of space. The wet-room floor design eliminates the need for a step-up, enhancing both accessibility and the fluidity of the design.

The luxurious materials throughout the bathroom include porcelain tiles with a fantastic detailed finish that mirrors the natural textures of Oak and Carrara marble. The floor features elegant oak chevron boards, while the walls are lined with polished Carrara marble, creating a sophisticated contrast.

To complement the natural beauty of the tiles, we added fine detailing by using oak fluting on both the cabinetry and wall panelling, finished in a semi-transparent light grey wash. This brings a contemporary edge to the space, while still nodding to the traditional warmth of English oak.

Subtle accent lighting within the shower wall recess illuminates the shelving for washing products, adding both practicality and ambiance. The bespoke mirror, with its floating effect, further enhances the airy, open feel of the room.

All brassware is from Meir, finished in a luxurious champagne tone, perfectly complementing the refined palette of the space.
